SkyPixel 7th Anniversary Contest Award Winners have just been revealed! As its name implies, this competition hosted by DJI features aerial photography and videography taken with drones. Let’s look at some winners.
SkyPixel Contest, now in its seventh year, is one of the world’s biggest drone photography and videography competitions, boasting nearly 30,000 submissions from around the globe this year alone.
This competition includes six video categories (Nature, City Travel Travel FPV Sport Showreel) and four photo categories (Nature Architecture Portrait and Sport).
Undoubtedly, the prizes were outstanding:
First prize in each category received a DJI Mavic 3 and DJI RS 2 Pro Combo worth $3,198 ($3,198 total value.). For second prizes in each category they could choose either an Air 2S Fly More Combo, an FPV Combo or both in addition to a DJI RSC 2 Pro Combo worth $2,038 in total value.
Third place winners in each category received a DJI Mini 2 Fly More Combo and an Action 2 Dual-Screen Combo ($1,118 in total value.).
And those weren’t even the top prizes: Grand Prize winners for both videography and photography received $7,500 worth of DJI products to their choice; Mavic 3 Limited Award recipients (who achieved outstanding videography/photography results with Mavic 3) received $6,000 worth of gear from DJI.
Given that entry was free and open to anyone interested, it’s not surprising that almost 30,000 entries have been received!
